About Me

My strength as a therapist is in connecting with clients and helping them access and use their strengths and resources. They find a space that is compassionate, warm, uplifting, and supportive where they can gain self-understanding and empathy for themselves and those around them. I enjoy working with clients of all different faith and spirituality backgrounds as they seek to understand how their beliefs fit into their life experiences. If you are looking specifically for a counselor who understands the Christian faith, please indicate that.

When not working, I enjoy time with my two kids and my husband, volunteering at my church with the children’s ministry, exercising, getting together with friends, trying out new recipes, and researching natural health.

My Background

If you are looking for a therapist who is compassionate, warm, uplifting, and supportive, I may be the right fit for you. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a place of non-judgmental support where you can bring your true self and find acceptance and encouragement. I have clinical experience with men, women, adolescents, and parents from diverse backgrounds. My work and training has primarily centered on the effects of trauma, grief, and loss; particularly in supporting individuals effected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood sexual abuse. I enjoy working with parents who are navigating the challenges of raising children, especially those who have not had the benefit of a nurturing parent relationships.
